Thanks to its design, the wedge enables the correct positioning of the lower limbs in the bends, at the same protecting the user from the adduction contractures in the hip joints. Using the cushion prevents the knee hyperextension in the knee joints and reduces the risk of bedsores on the inner parts of the legs. It is highly recommended for the bedridden users. It can be successfully used in both the supine and semi-reclining position, e.g. in post-operative therapy.
